1. Agreement

By subscribing to a Next Geekers internet service or using our website, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Service provision

We agree to provide you with the internet service described in the plan you select (speed, bandwidth, and support level) at the advertised price, subject to network availability and fair-use policies. Service is delivered on a best-effort basis with a 99.9% uptime target; speed may vary with network conditions, device capability, and website capacity.

3. Fair Usage Policy (FUP)

Our residential plans are unlimited in the sense that there is no fixed monthly data cap, but they are intended for normal household use, and all customers share the same network. To keep speeds consistent for everyone, especially during peak evening hours, the Fair Usage Policy (FUP) applies:

  • What the FUP covers: abnormally heavy, sustained usage that degrades service for other customers on the same network segment.
  • What it does not affect: normal home usage — streaming, gaming, video calls, downloads, online classes, and remote work — is never throttled.
  • Reselling is not permitted: you may not resell, redistribute, or share the connection with unapproved users or premises.
  • Lawful use: you may not use the service for unlawful activities or to violate the laws of Nepal, or interfere with our network or other customers' service.
  • Business usage: if your usage looks more like a business or shared network, we may ask you to move to a corporate plan designed for that load.

The FUP exists so every customer gets a consistent, reliable connection — not to restrict normal use. If you have questions, contact us at care@nextgeekers.com.np.

4. Billing and payments

Plans are billed monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, or yearly at the rates shown on our plans page. One-time charges (installation, drop wire, and the ONU deposit) are published on the plans page and are waived entirely on yearly billing. Late payments may result in service suspension; outstanding balances remain due upon termination.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your service by notifying our support team. Equipment provided by us remains our property and must be returned on cancellation if requested. Refunds are handled in accordance with the plan you chose.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Next Geekers is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from service interruption, data loss, or use of the connection. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the billing period in which the issue occurred.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version is always available on this page, and we will make reasonable efforts to notify customers of material changes.
