Fiber to the home (FTTH)
Fiber to the home (FTTH), also called “fiber to the premises” (FTTP), is the installation and use of optical fiber from a central point directly to individual buildings such as residences, apartment building and businesses to provide unprecedented high-speed internet access. Fiber to the home or building replaces standard copper wire of the local telecom operators with optic cable that can cater to high-speed broadband services.
Next Geekers recently has connectivity to samakushi, gongabu and civil mall and expanding with regular service along with volume-based service where customers can enjoy high speed. Each subscriber is connected by a dedicated fiber to a port or passive optical splitter. Communication signal is transmitted from the operators’ switching equipment to the home or business thereby replacing existing cooper infrastructure such as telephone wires and coaxial cable.
